Consumed with guilt and praying for absolution, he threw himself into killing every Fallen he could find to save the humans he’d sworn to protect. But then Emma, deliciously mortal and completely forbidden, swept into his world, stirring an overpowering desire. Now he’s not only fighting soulless creatures, but also his inner cravings, trying to maintain his distance and continue on his path to forgiveness. My Review

Fallen Redemption brought a new twists to the typical vampire story that I hadn’t seen before, making the story very different indeed! In this series vampires are forces used for good, destined to fight and kill Fallen (demons). They work for the church and have a sacred duty to mankind. However, they aren’t meant to actually mingle with humans, that is until the day Cade saves Emma from near death and discovers he can still feel things he never thought he would be able to again.

The terminology in this book was a little difficult to follow and the names were a little tricky, but I definitely enjoyed the ingenuity placed into the story. Cade was the epitome of a hot hero! He’s a leader, he’s badass but also compassionate and fiercely loves. Though Fallen Redemption’s plot line felt similar to past books I’ve read, there were enough different elements included to keep me intrigued. Not to mention, it had its fair share of action!

I enjoyed his relationship with Emma for sure, however I felt that their feelings for each other were a little rushed. It was like there was an overwhelming attraction instantly and no actual time to fall in love. I would have preferred to see more development between the two. I admired the love they had for one another, it just felt somewhat unjustified. Overall I was pleased with the progress the story took and was happy to see things work out the way I wanted them to. I’m definitely interested to see what’s in store for Cade and Emma.

If you are looking for a steamy paranormal romance, then Fallen Redemption is for you!
